Our Management Team

Dustin Crockett, Managing Director

Mr. Crockett currently serves as the managing partner of Neo Viridis Energy, LLC. He is an authority on risk assessment, decision-making, strategic planning, due diligence, and performance management for large projects.  Mr. Crockett founded Neo Viridis Energy, LLC in 2009, to develop sustainable clean energy project. He is responsible for the company’s full range of services, and has led consulting and project teams for several high-profile projects such as the $3.88B Duke Edwardsport IGCC clean coal power plant project.

 

In 2003, Mr. Crockett joined TRC Companies, Inc. (TRC) and advanced through the ranks to serve as a principal in TRC’s Real Estate group responsible for the origination and execution of environmental risk transfer, Brownfield redevelopment, eco-for-profit conservancy, and salvage recovery ventures.  He help originate and manage over >$500M in risk transfer opportunities ($570M in known projects with >$2B in unknown hedged liabilities) in his tenure at TRC. In addition to representing various financial organizations and energy companies in multi-million and -billion dollar acquisitions and divestitures throughout United States. 

 

In 2008, he joined Risk Assessment & Management (RAM) Group, inc. to lead operations, manage projects, and generate business development as a vesting partner.  Six months after joining RAM Group it was acquired by Gannet Fleming, Inc., an international engineering consulting firm.

 

In 2010, Mr. Crockett was recruited by GE Energy to served on GE’s Duke Edwardsport IGCC project management/execution team. He led new product development and project execution of GE’s plant controls system, dynamic engineering and training simulation, operability/ reliability assurance efforts, system factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), and plant construction/ commissioning/ startup/ testing. Mr. Crockett was promoted in 2012 to GE Gasification’s Controls and Operations Engineering Manager and in 2013 he was asked to resurrect a dormant Global GE Service Engineering business, evaluate viability in market, develop business plan and sustainable growth strategy to advance business to $50M in short-term revenue.

 

In November 2013, Mr. Crockett decided to focus all of his energy to his passion for consulting and project development with Neo Viridis Energy, LLC.

 

Mr. Crockett holds a bachelor of science in Agriculture Engineering from Texas A&M University with an emphasis on power and machinery. 

 

Daniel Crockett, Director

Mr. Crockett currently serves as an Executive Director of Neo Viridis Energy, LLC.  He has more than 35 years of grain merchandising and executive management experience. 

 

Mr. Crockett is a highly accomplished business leader with excellent communication and business problem solving know-how with a vast and proven background in all aspects of successful and profitable agricultural operations management, sales, marketing, business development and turnaround.  Mr. Crockett has managed the transitioning of multiple upside-down grain elevators in Colorado, Nebraska and Texas into
profitable assets.  He has been task with leading design-build elevator expansion and grassroots projects.

 

Mr. Crockett served as Vice President of Branch Operations (grain, seed, insurance, business development, and community and public relations) for American Pride Coop in Brighton, Colorado; general manager of Bartley Equity Coop in Bartley, Nebraska; Branch Manager
of Anderson Grain Corporation in Sherman, Texas; Manager of Commodities and Grain Merchandising for Southeastern Colorado Coop in Holly, Colorado; and Manager of Elevator and Merchandising for Bartlett & Company Grain in Towner, Colorado. 


His previous responsibilities included direct reporting to board of directors, directing corporate auditors, P&L management and reporting, risk
management, business development, community and public relations, product line development and deployment (commodities, grain and seed sales, insurance services, and government programs), and personnel management.

 

Mr. Crockett has also owned and operated a successful farming and ranching operation in Southeastern Colorado for over 40 years. 

 

Mr. Crockett has served on many different committees and boards, including: Board of Director for Colorado Feed and Grain Association and presently an active member; President of Local Colorado Soil Conservation District; President of Colorado Area (seven county) RC&D District; Vice President of Colorado Area Water Shed District; Advisory Board for Backland Income Growth in North Texas; and Advisory Board for Adams County Colorado Agent.

 

Mr. Crockett has presented numerous professional hedging seminars and holds his national futures trading Series 3 broker license, and crop insurance agent license.
